E. E. MacPhee

Enoch Ezra MacPhee

Why the name

These have a certain meaning to life.

Enoch

A figure of life’s mysteries. “Enoch walked with God, and was no more, for God took him.”

Ezra

A figure of devotion, commitment and influence. “For Ezra prepared in his heart to seek the law of the Lord and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgements.”

MacPhee

C. S. Lewis’s character in “That Hideous Strength”. His skepticism provided insight for planning the battle against that hideous strength.

“William Tyndale’s translations of the Bible are such a treasure that more people ought to be reading them. I can do that: make it easier for a modern-day reader to read William Tyndale’s work.”
